1. LMW recolonised this area after being cleared because they messed the tables.
2. 4 different weaver species found above the restaurant site. Village, Southern, Lesser & Spectacled Weaver.
3. The previous Village weaver report (2013-10-12), in knob thorn above the staff quarters has been totally vacated - probably due to exposure and predation.
4. no ringed birds noted between 17h45 & 18h15. 8884 792 15/2/2014 0 Vm 7582 revisited. Responded to call from artist to 'come see eagles attacking nests'. Colonies decimated, very few nests seen in trees. Told that nests were being attacked all the time. Damage seems from Gymnogenes as back been torn off. No nest count. New nests seen above restaurant area.
