History of repeat colony counts
Note: repeats from the same day are not shown.vm Species code Date Nests Notes 7529 792 25/11/2013 0 Counted 2 then 12 nests over last 2 weeks when shopping. Today counted 58 new nests covering about 15 palm trees. Many weavers in attendance in these low palm trees. Promises to be a large colony. Hopefully shoppers tolerate the mess on their cars.
The nearby Wild-life estate LMW colony (Vm 4857 200m away) has not really happened this year. Maybe disturbance by predation has forced these birds to relocate - as nearby Hotel school colony (Vm 4856/7503) also restarted. 8879 792 19/2/2014 201 Vm 7529 revisited.
