2. Now recorded 7 spectacle weaver nests in this local region, virtually one every 100 - 200m apart.(Vm 3129, 5008, 6970, 7180, 7307, 7586, 8113 see next observation) 2 other pairs heard/seen - but nests not located - yet.
Homeowner observed fledglings earlier this month but palm frond dropped during storm. Fledglings then lived in undergrowth. Raised successfully. Material used - the fine fibers from the palm tree trunk. Nest count 1 Nest site tree
