1. owner tells me that there used to be 'many more' RBBW nests in this tree.
2. RBBW definitly chase away squabbling weavers from own nest site.
3. RBBW quite territorial, constantly chasing each other through the tree. Nest count 7 Nest site tree

Lesser masked making nests from old dry grass. Green palm trees across the road being used by village weavers in same tree. Fast food owner below feeds & waters birds. 7590 797 1/12/2013 12 Vm 7295 revisited. Only 12 village weaver nests counted, but many birds seen at water dish below. Presume there is another colony nearby, probably at house across R40 road behind locked GR gate. 8880 797 20/2/2014 0 Revisited VM 7590. Birds active, being fed & given water.
