Notes	Vm 6971 revisited. 2 main locations but mostly in fever tree on island. Island group 51 nests. Dam wall 12. This location has grown - largest seen in 3 years. 3/4km from Otto & Blyde river cafe colonies.

6970	791	9/8/2013	4	nests above reeds around landscaped entrance to Blyde wildlife estate. Comments: Spectacle weaver seen in immediate vicinity inspecting a nest. Have seen/recorded that these weavers may restore old nests. Village & LMW also in surrounding trees. nests: 4 old around pond.
7308	803	21/10/2013	0	Multi species colony. Previous reports for Spectacled and Lesser Masked from this site (Vm 6970/1). Rained last night. Immediate reaction from birds as colony inspected 2 days ago. New, almost complete Southern Masked Weaver and 7 Village Weaver rings & one completed nest structure. Village Weaver already performing nest display. No sign of other species yet.
7586	791	30/11/2013	4	Revisited Vm 6970. 2 groups of 2 nests in lower branches of fever trees, over water & bulrushes. currently seem 'not used' Birds heard in vicinity. Looked for newer nests unsuccessfully.
