NotesQuite large (20-30nests) colonies of old cape weaver nests found in reedbeds along this stream. This is one of many. No cape weavers seen at old nests in river beds nor at 2 feeding tables provided by residents. They reported seeing cape but upon inspection, I only found 801 goldens. I believe they cannot differentiate the species. Rains very delayed. No flying ants or other hatches seen or reported, yet, in this location.
