Very little rain recorded this season. Birds first noticed end September.
Only one 'green' nest. Birds occupying old nests.

Comments:
1. Weavers arrived/1st noticed on 15th October, took over old nests. Many displays. No green nests seen.
2. Good rains 10 & 12th November - with flying ants - more rain later Nov. Grass growing well.
3. Some nests are new or being refurbished.
4. 103 nests counted, new and old - some added onto, some starting rings, most old.
5. Cannot tell which old nests are being re-used to breed.
6. Diederics cuckoos already hassling colony.
