Nest count: original 23/1/2012 was 42, but did not realise that this site stretched over about 6-7 trees. Counted 33 at original site & another 40 all over neighbouring trees. plus 3 single, green, isolated new nests. a couple of LMWeavers seen in the trees but this colony has not become 'active'
shall return. 5060 803 29/12/2012 13 3 small groups of Sth. masked weaver nests scattered about in trees amongst LMWeaver colony - but separate/isolated. Nests mixture of new
(green) & older. (1) group - 5 nests, 2 active males. 1 building new nest (2) group 2 - 4 nests, one active male. (3) group 3 - 4 nests - one active male.
