Notes2 large fever trees with remnants of weaver colonies in well kept garden. comments: Management state that the birds have started to return. Colony builds up to about 80 & 160 during peak season. They keep records of the birds & have monitored them for the last 12 years. 3. Noticed a pair of village weavers inspecting nests in both trees, hanging upside down, flapping & generally displaying, even displacing others - but these were LMW nests! nests: no green nests seen. Rough count as 11 nests on smaller tree, 20 odd on larger.
