Geo coords are 'mid of 200x50m impenetrable bog area with leaking sewer pipes. comments: thickbills seen lurking in reeds. many nests seen but count impossible because of thick reeds. These nests were near a burnt out area on edge of region. nest: 6 definite but probably many more

6857	803	2/8/2013	50	50 plus nests scattered around in these dense, swampy reedbeds, some in willows, trees or on reeds. comment: Geo location is for an area 200m x 50m wide. counted 50 plus but many more partially hidden in dense swampy reeded area - and could not differentiate between Masked & thickbill weavers, maybe even Cape - need to confirm later on in season. nests: 50 plus mostly old - not green.
