249077921/6/201288 red billed buffalo weavers in fever tree at service area of Satara camp. 2 birds sighted on left nest - not in photograph. Seems that some birds do not 'migrate' during the winter - a pair seem to remain - maybe the original paired parents? The new birds/yearlings might leave to flock, mix and select mates elsewhere. Then return to set up their own colonies.
295877918/9/201210repeat visit to restaurant site date; 18 Sept 2012; 10 nests (was 8 on 21/6/2012); 4 or 5 adults and 2 lighter, probably juveniles, feeding in garden and from tables.
