According to resident nests don't anchor well in Palm and drop down. 5 recent nest lying under tree 2893 799 13/9/2012 19 19 nest in total including 3 green. Previous visit showed 2 old nests on the opposite side of the tree, which has now increased to 4. 6 nests were on the ground and previously the owner told me the nests don't anchor well in that tree as can probably be seen by the elaborate attachments the birds construct. Contrary to last last visit, all nest now neatly constructed. 3034 799 24/9/2012 20 20 nest total, 5 on road 15 on side of house. Very little bird activity and again 10 nest on the ground. 3087 799 30/9/2012 18 No birds seen in vicinity of nests.
5 nests on the South side of the trees and 13 on the North side. Included are 2 green nests of which one is semi completed. It appeared no nests had fallen down during the past week of relativity moderate winds.

Repeat count 5748 799 18/6/2013 9 No new nests at this old site yet. Went to do a re count but found the site deserted but with 9 old nests still remaining. 6217 799 14/7/2013 6 6 nests in total, one very damaged and one new nest.
No birds seen but the first sign of building activity. 6543 799 28/7/2013 7 7 nests including one that has "some" green. No birds seen. 6824 799 4/8/2013 7 First bird iv'e seen at this site this year.
One male Cape Weaver making himself heard to all in the vicinity.
