2930CALocality Midmar Dam Latitude, longitude -29.545422, 30.170667 [0 m accuracy] Date 2013/4/5 Notes 30/31 March - there were quite a few completed and partially built nests as well as many adults several of which were feeding young. Seems very late in the season.
3 Apr - I was in a bit of a rush so didn’t take pics of the colony or nests, did take a few quick shots of some birds.
5 Apr - I went back to see if the quelea colony was active and not a quelea around. I had a bit more time and took pics of the smaller nests which I assumed were RHQ's. Nest count 0 Nest site reed
