2331CALocality letaba river, west of Kruger Nat. Park Latitude, longitude -23.643288888889, 31.052683333333 [0 m accuracy] Date 2013/3/7 Notes 3 newly built nests in dense reed beds in Letaba River at Mtomeni Camp. Area devastated early february by floods. These Weavers, red Bishops,
blue waxbill, Chin spot batis, hornbills and many other birds actively 'courting' and nest building.(probably because nests were washed away or lost due to storm damage - or late rains). Huge concentration of barn swallows overnighting in reedbeds as well. Flocks of one to 2 hundred quelea also swarming and roosting in reedbeds. See also Birdpix Nest count 3 Nest site reed
