NotesNew - Sthn. masked weavers. Location 17, 5 & 4 nests, mostly unattended, located in 3 hookthorn trees surrounding a Radio tower mast site. Many small, similar colonies found in this area. seems masked weavers prefer small colonies located near seasonal water - local rains have been late this year so maybe one of the reasons for new Sthn masked weaver nests only being built now. Nests - 26
