485679222/12/201228revisit 2256/3692. Virille colony completely wiped out - now moved to neighbouring palm trees 10m away from old site (22 nests)- and nearby (15m) fever tree (6 nests). 750379224/11/20139Vm 3692/2256 revisited. Colony wiped out 2012-0-25 because it attracted snakes. Birds relocated to a loose colony in neighbouring fever trees. Location checked monthly. Now 9 new nests built in original palms. No new nests in neighbouring fever trees.
889579224/2/20140Vm 7503 revisited. Large fever tree colony at entrance to Hoedspruit Wild-life estate has been completely abandoned - there are no nests in the trees - probably due to persistent predation. These birds probably relocated to this established site and to palms at nearby Pick n Pay parking area. No new nests. No birds seen. Nests not recounted.
