0831DCLocality bridge over Saisi R, near border with Tanzania Latitude, longitude -8.92914, 31.73049 [0 m accuracy] Date 2016/4/3 Notes Nests far from the road (in deep wet swamp). most nests brown, presumably active earlier in the season (Nov-Feb?), some nests (e.g. far left) fresh green, and one male was flying up and down with nesting material. Photos 2-3: colony sites. In blue circles 3 clumps of nests indicated, but there were a few more, all in reeds apart from a few nests in papyrus. Some 20 nests were visible.
