History of repeat colony counts
Note: repeats from the same day are not shown.vm Species code Date Nests Notes 18022 780 9/10/2015 0 Location: large thorn tree besides old farmyard houses near R36 road.
Comment: stopped because noticed oxpeckers on a cow. Some were also WBSweavers! 2 sitting on a cow - using it as a perch. There were other trees with nests but no access and quite a few weavers
flying around and calling. This location was almost opposite the tree with nests (just reported) between the road and railway line, ie. Seems to be quite a widespread colony. This area has many old, abandoned buildings. Rusplek is an abandoned village maybe dating back to Voortrekker periods.
Nests. Picture shows 6 nests -but no access for accurate count. 18362 780 26/11/2015 0
