NotesThis read headed weaver was build a nest low on the hanging branches of a tree outside the game ranger\'s cottage at Nulamithi Lodge in the Welgevonden biosphere. The bird was quite habituated and fed on fruit put out on the lodge verandah for the frugivores. At the entrance to the conservancy there was a common wild fig which had about 16 red-headed weavers nests hanging from its branches
