25379930/10/201035nests were in small copse of Eucalypts on very edge of village opposite open fynbos; adults seen entering and leaving several nests
276979925/8/20120This is a repeat count. Very active colony with much construction and chirping taking place. 32 nest including 6 green and 2 semi completed. Very difficult to count and take photos because of 45knots of wind. I have not been able to locate any Weaver colonies further South, yet.
582879922/6/20132929 nests in total. According to the Gardener about 10 remained from last year. 6 nests had green sections and 4 birds were very active. One bird had just started his "anchor" as can be seen on photo. This colony is spread across 2 adjacent trees and is already very active.
