SESAW: Survival Estimates in Southern African Weavers

This project is progressing well, after just 2 months. The study aims to estimate survival rates of weavers in different parts of southern Africa, and relies on ringers ringing and recapturing weavers. The most ringed weaver species is the Southern Red Bishop (169) and it also has the highest recapture rate (15%). Other species with over 100 ringed are Cape Weaver and Southern Masked Weaver.
